Autumn

Autumn is the most exciting time for us as it is when we harvest our Koi from the mud ponds following their summer growing season, our first chance to really see how they have developed.

Around the 10th September we will harvest our tosai, aged between 3-4 months and already some will be 25cm+ in size. At this time they are again culled to ensure that only those with the best development potential are given space in the heated Koi house.
