Sales season
Mid-October - November
Nisai (two year old), Sansai (three year old) and bigger koi

Sales start at mid-October, when Nisai and bigger koi come up from mud ponds.
If you are looking for top quality koi, this is the best time to make a visit to us.
You get to sellect from numbers of newly harvested top Go-sanke.

We have lots of people visit in the last week of October, when we have Niigata
Nougyousai (aguriculture festival) show. Herhaps this is the high time of the year.
December - January
Nisai (two year old), Sansai (three year old) and bigger koi

Of course we have lots of koi to sell during winter time. This is the least busy
season of the year. If you have time and want to enjoy visiting around, this may
be the best season for you - breeders have lots of time to spare, they'd like your
company very much.
Late January - April
 Tosai (1/2 year old)

We harvest Tosai koi late September-early October. We usually don't sell these
untill late January. Tosai are weak when they come right up from mud ponds.
It takes us a month or longer to get them in feeding condition. They are not
yet ready for sale then. We have to let them grow a little more in greenhouse
ponds and cull a couple of more times during winter.
Nisai (two year old), Sansai (three year old) and bigger koi

Things start to get busier after All-Japan Shikokai Show in Tokyo at the end of
January. We have many people visiting around this time. We still have many more
to sell toward the end of April.
